Just was thinking that if anybody had any knowledge on a couple catagories (Solar Power, Sun Studies for Norther BC, Micro Hydro, Storage batteries) that you could post them on my blog. This would greatly help out my Research Project.
I appretiate any comments.
even if you only say hi :)
Hey Nathan,
ReplyDeleteMy project is sorta similar to yours in that both our sites are located up in Nothern BC.
On my site in Atlin BC there is hydro power that is being generated from a river near by, and I have been looking at this one site where it ways the pros and cons of hydro and if it is a good idea for certain sites and hopfully this can give you some insite on whether hydro would be good for your project.

Hi Scoobs,
ReplyDeleteThis is an article from Popular Science a year or so ago dealing with lithium ion storage batteries. I don't know if it would correlate to your project or if it's what you're looking for but I thought it was pretty innovative.

Hey Nathan,
ReplyDeleteI been looking into some sites for my project as well to determine how much power I can generate. It would seem that we have to decide on an actual model. Once you have a name brand chosen, they list their power output given sunlight accessible. Hope this helps.

Thank you Shawn, Arvi, and Mikayla for posting on my Blog.
ReplyDeleteAll your posts are perfect and I am looking into all your comments.
Hey, if you're looking for solar panels you could use this program to calculate how much energy you can get from them. Just go to http://www.retscreen.net/ang/home.php
ReplyDeleteThanks mark. This Looks pretty good. I still have to figure out how to use this software but it looks good. thanks for putting me onto this page.
ReplyDeleteHi Nathan, I found this blurb here about micro hrydo energy alternatives, thaought it held some useful information to you. Heres the link
